What we believe:

‘We shape our buildings, and thereafter they shape us’.

Sustainability:

McNulty Smyth Associates believe good design has sustainabililty at its heart.

WHAT IS SUSTAINABLE ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN? Sustainable design is the practice of creating buildings which make as little impact on the natural world as possible. It promotes the health of the building's occupants at the same time as reducing the negative effects of the construction process on the environment.

We have over 20 years experience incorporating Building services, fabric and controlled fittings in ways which minimise a buildings impact on the environment. Combined with a focus on the delicate balance between a building’s form, function and interactions with its surrounding environment, our design seeks to minimize the negative environmental impact of our  buildings. The outcome is improved efficiency and moderation in the use of materials and energy.
